To all of you slackers, whatever you may be celebrating.

And Happy Festivus for the rest of us!

It is widely known that posting anything on bloggish or semi-bloggish sites during the month of October is a bad omen. Yes my children, it is the truth! Kuala Lumpur made it actually a law and as a law abiding citizen of French Polynesia I must oblige.

:D

If you read Penny Arcade you probably already read Tycho’s rant or blog or whatever you wanna call it. If not here is the short version. A woman that used to work for Nintendo got fired because her blogging was “not work appropriate”. I understand that some companies have nazi policies regarding whatever the fuck you do even when you are not working but puh-leeeze, people will always bitch and moan about their jobs no matter what. In this case, the extremely hawt lady did exactly that but did never mentioned the name of the company she works for or the name of her fellow coworkers. She even wrote under a alias but for some stupid reason she posted her pictures.

This kinda brings me to the whole MySpace thing. Some of my friends are frantic about not having myspace profile or if they had it they deleted it for professional reasons. Supposedly human resources nowadays dont only check your references but also they search for your naughty MySpace profile and depending mostly on the profile (with whom you associate there, your comments, blog, pictures etc) your application gets “We’ll call you” schtik. So what the fuck is going on really. While most of our rights are protected by the constitutional laws, some of those rights disappear in the cyber space. I mean this shit only fuels assholes like that shitty lawyer from Florida. So people, be wary of your blogging habits cuz freedom of speech doesn’t cover your asses there, you will get canned if you work for some big asshole corporation.

P.S. OMG a update!!!
